The protagonist of the story. Separated from his parents at a young age, he was raised by Gulan, a loyal servant and adoptive father. Despite his tragic childhood, he grew up empathetic rather than cynical, always putting himself in others' shoes with a strong sense of responsibility — though this very nature often leads him into trouble.
Milfen's childhood friend and a few years his senior, Bauer inherited his family's merchant business and began traveling and trading from a young age. As a seasoned wanderer, he is practical and sharp-minded, often making the most efficient decision in the moment — though not always the kindest one.
Leader of the Watcher's Eagles and Milfen's father — a dependable man known for his deep sense of loyalty and responsibility. He led the Watcher's Eagles in guarding Roséphire, the sacred land of Mnim. After Roséphire came under attack, he became separated from his wife and son and has been missing ever since.
Warren's wife and Milfen's mother, Lana is a divine messenger who lives to follow sacred prophecy. Also a member of the Watcher's Eagles, she is meticulous and persistent — a trait Milfen clearly inherited. As the High Divine of the order, her devout faith earned her divine favor. She went missing along with her husband and son after the fall of Roséphire.
